
Christian Braun is an American small forward/shooting guard who was born in Burlington, Kansas, United States on April 17, 2001. Braun plays for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended Blue Valley Northwest High School before playing college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks between 2019 and 2022.
Braun was selected as the 21st overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets. He averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game in the 2024-25 regular season. Braun is one of only five NBA players, alongside Bill Russell, Henry Bibby, Magic Johnson and Billy Thompson, to win an NCAA championship and an NBA championship in consecutive years.
