Dillon Brooks is a basketball player who plays for the Houston Rockets in the NBA as of April 2025. He was born on January 22, 1996, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He played high school basketball for two different teams, Father Henry Carr Catholic and Findlay Prep High School. He joined the University of Oregon for college basketball, where he averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. He was named Pac-12 Player of the Year in 2017 and was selected to the First-team All-Pac-12 twice in 2016 and 2017.

Brooks was selected 45th overall in the second round by the Houston Rockets in the 2017 NBA Draft. Although he was drafted by the Rockets, he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies and made his debut for the Grizzlies on October 18, 2017. After six seasons, he returned to the Rockets in 2023 through a sign-and-trade deal.
