Draymond Jamal Green was born on March 4, 1990. He is an American who plays in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors. Draymond was born in Saginaw, Michigan, United States. His parents, Wallace Davis and Mary Babers divorced when he was a child. He was primarily raised by his mother. Draymond joined Saginaw High School in Saginaw, Michigan.

After completing his study, Draymond enrolled at Michigan State after signing a letter of intent in November 2017. He originally joined his college in 2008 and played college basketball in the 2008-09 season.

At College, Draymond played basketball against several teams. During his senior year, he was named the Most Outstanding Player and Big Ten Player of the Year by the coaches in March 2012. Draymond finished his college career with over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. Thereafter, he declared for the 2012 NBA draft.
