Draymond Jamal Green was born on March 4, 1990. He is an American who plays in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors. Draymond was born in Saginaw, Michigan, United States. His parents, Wallace Davis and Mary Babers divorced when he was a child. He was primarily raised by his mother. Draymond joined Saginaw High School in Saginaw, Michigan.

After completing his study, Draymond enrolled at Michigan State after signing a letter of intent in November 2017. He originally joined his college in 2008 and played college basketball in the 2008-09 season.

At College, Draymond played basketball against several teams. During his senior year, he was named the Most Outstanding Player and Big Ten Player of the Year by the coaches in March 2012. Draymond finished his college career with over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. Thereafter, he declared for the 2012 NBA draft. He was the 35th overall selection of the Golden State Warriors in the draft.

Draymond Green became an NBA player in 2012. On July 30, he signed a three-year deal with the Golden State Warriors. Draymond debuted on October 31 in a game against the Phoenix Suns. He recorded one rebound and one foul in this match. Draymond continued playing matches against several teams after that and guided the team to the 2013 playoffs.

In January 2015, Draymond achieved a triple-double for the first time in his career. It was a match against the Toronto Raptors in which he scored 16 points. Draymond also participated in the 2015 NBA Finals. In the sixth game of the NBA Finals, he once again finished with a triple-double.

On July 9, 2015, Draymond Green continued to play with the same team. He re-signed to a five-year contract. In 2016, Draymond was named to the NBA All-Star Game. At the end of March 2017, he became the first player in NBA history to score 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists. At the end of this season, Draymond was selected to the All-NBA Second Team.

Thereafter, he led the team to back-to-back championship titles in 2017 and 2018. In August 2020, Draymond was fined 50,000 USD for breaking the league rules. After that, he tested positive for COVID-19. This really affected his gameplay throughout the season. Recently, in 2022, Draymond was named to the NBA All-Star Game.

At present, Draymond currently plays for the same team. He has been an important player for the Warriors in winning championships against several NBA teams. Draymond is a significant player for the team and is continuously helping the group to reach greater heights.
