Enrique Freeman is a basketball power forward for the Indiana Pacers and their NBA G League affiliate as of May 2025. The Pacers drafted Freeman as the 50th pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft. He signed a two-way contract in August 2024. The Cleveland, Ohio, native attended St. Martin de Porres High School, after which, in 2019, he joined the University of Akron through a scholarship. During the 2021–22 season, he became one of the MAC's best defensive players, and his offense also grew. He led the country in field goal percentage and averaged a double-double for the season.

Freeman was selected as the conference's Defensive Player of the Year and made the second-team All-MAC. He was voted the tournament MVP after leading the Akron Zips to a MAC tournament title. Going into last season, Freeman was selected to the 20-man watch list for the Karl Malone Award for best forward. In February 2024, he was added to the 10-man finalist pool and was awarded preseason All-MAC. In his five seasons of college, he has played in 132 games, starting 122, averaging 14.0 points, 1.3 assists and 10.6 rebounds.
