Eric Gordon is an American-Bahamian basketball player who plays for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. He is an Indiana alumnus who averaged 20.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per in college, and earned a selection to the Big Ten All-First Team, and won the Big Ten Freshman of the Year title.

Gordon decided to forgo his remaining three years of college and declared for the 2008 NBA Draft. The Los Angeles Clippers selected the guard in the first round with the seventh overall pick.

After playing half a season with the Los Angeles Clippers last season, Gordon became a free agent and signed with the Phoenix Suns. Alongside the Suns’ superstars Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, EG will be hoping for a title push in 2024.

In the 2023 offseason, the NBA Sixth Man of the Year represented the Bahamian National Team in the FIBA World Cup 23 and helped the team to qualify for the Olympic qualifiers. This was a significant accomplishment for the Bahamian team.
