Golden State Warriors Last Playoff Appearance

Warrior’s last playoff appearance came in the 2022-23 NBA season, where they reached the Western Conference semifinals. The Warriors finished the season 6th in the Western Conference standings and 1st in their division.


The Warriors faced the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the 2022-23 NBA season. The series went to seven games, with Warriors ultimately gaining the last victory to progress further into the playoffs. As per ESPN, Stephen Curry averaged 33 points, 6.5 rebounds and five assists.


The Warriors then faced the Lebron James led Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals where they lost to the Lakers 4-2 in the series. The series seemed to be one to watch, with another classic Lebron vs Curry matchup and both teams performing extremely well at the time.


While the Warriors displayed offensive firepower throughout the series, they were no match for Lebron’s versatility and the strength of Anthony Davis. The Lakers' experience and depth ultimately led the Warriors to collapse and put an end to the Warriors’ attempt at securing another NBA title.
