Jordan Poole

Jordan Poole was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2019 with the 28th overall pick. He was one of the biggest contributors in the Warriors’ 2022 championship run. Poole was looked at as the successor to Stephen Curry for the Warriors future, but was ultimately traded to the Washington Wizards this off-season.

Future looked very bright for the Warriors when they won their fourth championship in eight years. Curry was the best player in the NBA that season, and Klay Thompson was back to his old version before the injury. The Warriors had also acquired young stars Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole.

After winning the championship, Poole went live on his instagram and shouted “We (Wiggins and Poole) are getting a bag.”

Poole is known for his deep shooting range and is a ball-handling wizard. He can play catch and shoot, score off-the-dribble, finish inside, and is a great free throw shooter. Despite his upside, Poole can be streaky with his shooting. He has a long way to go when it comes to efficiency and making higher IQ plays. His biggest problem is playing defense. Poole is a liability on the defensive end and can give easy buckets away to opposing teams.

In 14 games so far in the 2023/2024 season, Poole is averaging 17.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game for the Wizards.

Jordan Poole Shoes

Poole has been seen rocking Nike shoes on court. He recently signed a long-term extension with the sports apparel giant. Poole has been wearing the Nike G.T. Cut 2 sneaker series and Nike has posted many videos dedicating it to Jordan Poole and the G.T Cut 2 series.

The sneaker is priced at $180 and Poole has complimented the traction, lightness, stability, and cushion. Apart from the G.T Cut series, Poole also wears Nike Kobe 6 and Kobe 6 lows. Nike has continued to market the G.T series with Poole and has no plans of slowing down.

Poole has proven himself as a decent offensive player, but is far from what he can truly accomplish. If Poole can make better decisions with the basketball and improve his defense, he could very well become an All-Star player, but for now, he has a mountain to climb before he can be called an All-Star.
