Keita Bates-Diop is a professional basketball player who plays for the Qingdao Guoxin Haitian Eagle Club of the Chinese Basketball Association as of May 2025. Bates-Diop is 6 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 229 pounds. He played college basketball for Ohio State University, where he was a first-team All-Big Ten and the Big Ten Player of the Year in 2018. He was selected in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft as the 48th overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves and has also played for the Denver Nuggets and the San Antonio Spurs, and was a member of the Brooklyn Nets.

Bates-Diop played the 2023-24 season first for the Phoenix Suns, where he played in 39 games, averaged 4.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game, and was later traded to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team trade involving the Memphis Grizzlies. After this followed a series of trades, at the end of which the New York Knicks waived him. He joined the Qingdao Eagles of the Chinese Basketball Association on February 20, 2025.
