Born April 19, 1999, Luguentz Dort is a small forward/shooting guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder as of January 2025. Dort was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to Haitian parents. He began playing organized basketball in Park Extension, a neighborhood in Montreal, at the age of 12. Dort played for Canada at the Adidas Nations tournament in July 2015. He averaged 9.2 points and 4 rebounds through 4 games in the tournament. He played in the Nike Americas Team Camp in August that year and was named the MVP in the All-Star Game. As a senior, Dort attended the Athlete Institute in Mono, Ontario.

Dort signed a two-way contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder after going undrafted in the 2019 draft. He made his NBA debut against the Minnesota Timberwolves on December 6, 2019. He hit a career-high in points on April 13, 2021, notching up 42 points against the Utah Jazz. He hit 3 three-pointers in that game, which was also a career-high. He re-signed with the Thunder for a second time on July 6, 2022, on a five-year, $82.5 million contract. Internationally, Dort penned a three-year commitment to play with the Canadian senior men's national team on May 24, 2022.
