Mark Daigneault is a 5 ‘10’’ tall head coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He started his coaching journey as an assistant coach with the Holy Cross in 2007. Thereafter, Daigneault worked under the head coach Billy Donovan in the Florida University for four seasons and finally got an offer from the Oklahoma Blue of the NBA-G-League of the Western Conference.

The Thunder have finished at or near the top 10 defensively under Daigneault's guidance multiple times. He is frequently praised for his plan, gameplay, and adjustments. The coach was frequently regarded by many players as bright and the ideal coach for the young players, including Josh Giddey and Dario Saric.

Daigneault has spent three seasons or is in his third year of the contract with the Thunder as a head coach, and the journey so far has been impressive, the stats are constantly thriving. After being assistant coach for five years with the Oklahoma City Blue (in NBA-G-League) the coach begins his second stint as a head coach in 2020, where in the 2020-21 season he assisted the Thunder to win 22 games, 24 games in 2021-22 season and finally an exponential jump to 40 wins in the 2022-23 season. All this makes him finish second in the coach of the Year title last season.

Daigneault has been with the Thunder since 2014 and was the fourth head coach in Thunder’s history. During his time with the Oklahoma City Blue of NBA-G-League, he helped the team to win the three division titles and advance the team to the playoffs four times.
