The NBA All-Star Game is an annual exhibition matchup featuring the league's biggest stars. Since its inception in 1951, it has served as a showcase event to celebrate the very best talent that professional basketball has to offer. Players are selected to the All-Star teams through a voting process by fans, media members, coaches, and players themselves. It is considered an honor to be chosen as an All-Star selection in the NBA.

Over the years, while some outstanding players have made just one or two All-Star teams, an even more exclusive group has managed to earn selections year after year. These players have sustained incredible levels of play over long careers at the pinnacle of the sport. Some legendary figures have separated themselves by appearing in the several NBA All-Star games all-time.

Lebron James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in number of All-Star selections in 2024 as he was selected for the 20th time, as opposed to Abdul-Jabbar's 19. James has widened the gap just a little more as he again made the 2025 NBA All-Star roster, making a total of 21 All-Star appearances in his 21 years of experience in the NBA, which is nothing short of amazing, as he is the only player to have been an All-Star every year since he was drafted.
