Reece Beekman is an American basketball player at the college basketball level. He plays for the Virginia Cavaliers basketball team. He was born on October 08, 2001, and is 22 years of age as of June 2024. He was born in Milwaukee.

Beekman moved to Louisiana at the age of 14 where he attended high school at Scotlandville Magnet High School. He led his high school team to 4 Louisiana High School Athletic Association 5A State championships. He also was named Louisiana's Mr. Basketball in his senior year of high school.

Considered a 4-star recruit coming out of high school, Beekamn committed to play collegiate basketball at the University of Virginia. He won multiple All-Defensive team honours and was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year twice during his college basketball tenure.

Beekamn was well-recognized for his ability as a strong defender. He completed his journey with the University of Virginia, leading the school in steals and being placed 3rd in all-time assists.
