The 6-foot-3 guard, Rob Dilingham had a breakthrough season at the Kentucky Wildcats in 2023-24. Although playing in his freshman season, he was one of the best players on the Kentucky roster filled with talents like Sheppard and Reeves.

As a five-star recruit, Dillingham committed to play college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. The freshman featured in 32 games but only started one and averaged 23.3 minutes per game. Despite coming off the bench, Dillingham was Kentucky’s second-highest scorer behind Antonio Reeves with 486 points. He also displayed tremendous playmaking skills, averaging 3.9 assists per game, second only to Reed Sheppard on Kentucky’s roster.

In his freshman season, Dillingham was named the Sixth Man of the Year and made the All-SEC Second team for his performances. In the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, he is projected to be a lottery pick between eight to 10.

Despite not being in the conference’s top-20 three-point attempt leaders, Dillingham made 64 threes and ranked 16th. Among freshmen, he would be behind only two players in made threes, one of them being his fellow Kentucky mate, Reed Sheppard.

As a freshman, he would be ranked second in both categories only behind Josh Hubbard of Mississippi State.
