The San Antonio Spurs are an American professional basketball team that compete in the Southwest Division of the Western conference in the NBA. Based in San Antonio, Texas, they play their home games at the Frost Bank Center.
The Spurs have won five NBA championships till date, and won 50 games each season from 1999 to 2017 season, setting a record of 50 wins in 18 consecutive seasons. The team has been coached by legendary coach Gregg Popovich since 1996, making him the longest serving active coach across all major sports leagues in the USA.

Victor Wembanyama
Victor Wembanyama was picked first overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2023 NBA Draft. The 7’4” center / power forward is considered by many as the greatest prospect since LeBron James.
For the Metropolitans 92, Wembanyama became the youngest player to win the Pro A MVP award and also led the French league in points, rebounds and blocks. He won Pro A Best Young Player thrice from 2021 to 2023 and was named LNB All-Star in 2021 and 2022. He became a Pro A Champion in 2022, and won Pro A Best Scorer, Pro A Best Defender and Pro A Most Valuable Player in 2023. He also helped the France Under-16 team win silver twice in the FIBA Under-16 European Championship in 2019 and the FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in 2021.
Leonard Miller
Leonard Miller was born on November 26, 2003 and plays as a small forward for the Canadian national basketball team. He also played for NBA G League Ignite. The 6’10” was the 33rd overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft. Miller has won a silver medal at the FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship with Canada.
Sidy Cissoko
Sidy Cissoko was born on April 2, 2004 and plays as a small forward / shooting guard for the French National basketball team. He also played for NBA G League Ignite and was drafted 44th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2023 NBA Draft. Cissoko was invited to play in the Nike Hoop Summit in 2022 where he recorded three points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in 23 minutes.
