Nikola Topic, born on August 10, 2005, is a Serbian professional basketball player for the NBA franchise the Oklahoma City Thunder. Topic was drafted in 2024 as the 12th overall pick by the Thunders in the first round of the NBA draft. Prior to being drafted, Topic played for the Crvena Zvezda in the Serbian KLS, Adriatic League, and the EuroLeague. The 6 feet 6-inch tall Topic plays as a point guard and is expected to make his debut in the 2025/26 season, as he suffered an unfortunate season-ending ACL injury in July 2024.

Topic played for three years for the Crvena Zvezda (2022-24) and on 1 April 2022, made his EuroLeague debut against Bayern Munich as a 16-year-old and became one of the youngest players to do so. In the 2023/24 season, for Crvena Zvezda, Topic appeared in 18 games and averaged 11.1 points, 4.3 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.95 steals in 28.4 minutes per contest and was also named as the 2023-24 ABA League Top Prospect Award winner. Topic helped Crvena Zvezda win the 2023-24 Adriatic League title.
