Kurtis Rourke is a Canadian-American college football player, playing for the Indiana Hoosiers, as of December 2024. The quarterback was born on October 25, 2000, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and is in his senior year with the Hoosiers. Kurtis Rourke has bagged honors like MAC Most Valuable Player (2022), MAC Offensive Player of the Year (2022), First-team All-MAC (2022), Second-team All-Big Ten (2024) and Second-team All-MAC (2023).

Rourke kicked off his college football career with the Ohio Bobcats football team. Rourke redshirted in 2019 but shared time with Armani Rogers in 2020 and 2021. Following his performance, he was named MAC student-athlete of the week on October 27, 2021, and September 27, 2023.

Rourke finally got the starting quarterback spot in 2022 for the Bobcats, the year when he bagged the MAC East Offensive Player of the Week thrice. The first one was before he passed for 308 yards and four touchdowns against Florida Atlantic. The second one was for passing for a school-record 537 yards against Fordham in week four. The third one came after he recorded 317 yards and five touchdown passes against Buffalo.

Kurtis was also enlisted in the watch lists for the Maxwell Award, Davey O'Brien Award, Walter Camp Award, Manning Award, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. Additionally, he also ended the regular season as second-team all-MAC. Kurtis played 11 games in 2022 and recorded 244 passes for over 3200 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Rourke started 11 games in 2023 and tallied 2,207 passing yards on 307 passes with 195 completions. Additionally, he recorded 219 rushing yards on 67 attempts with four touchdowns and also became the second-leading passer in the history of Ohio. He announced that would be entering the transfer portal in 2023 and joined Indiana in December 2023.
