The quarterback was born on October 25, 2000, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and is in his senior year with the Hoosiers. Kurtis Rourke has bagged honors like MAC Most Valuable Player (2022), MAC Offensive Player of the Year (2022), First-team All-MAC (2022), Second-team All-Big Ten (2024) and Second-team All-MAC (2023).

Additionally, he recorded 219 rushing yards on 67 attempts with four touchdowns and also became the second-leading passer in the history of Ohio. He announced that would be entering the transfer portal in 2023 and joined Indiana in December 2023.
