PMCO Fall Split Finals 2019 Team Spotlight: UNicornGaming

PUBG Mobile Club Open Fall Split Global Finals will be held between 29th November and 1st December at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The event will see 16 teams from various parts of the world competing for the title and UNicornGaming will be taking part as the champions of the Wildcard regions of PMCO Fall Split 2019.

UNicornGaming is a professional PUBG Mobile team based in Taiwan. The team was formed on May 1, 2019, and has had a steady roster ever since.

Notable Achievements of UNicornGaming

Post their inception in May 2019, UNicornGaming took part in PUBG Mobile Club Open Spring Split and were placed 2nd in the Taiwan League, taking home $1,615.07. PMCO Fall Split 2019 is the team's second major tournament and they were placed 2nd in the Wildcard Group stage, securing $600. UNicornGaming eventually emerged as the winners of the Wildcard regions and earned a seat at the finals.

Ever since its establishment, UNicornGaming has been having a steady, five-member roster. The team consists of "Ryan" Tan Jin Pang, Xu Shi "CoCo" Cheng, Chui Ho Cheung, Wang Chin "Hong" Hung and Zeng Yu "Bacon" Jun. While Ryan is a Malaysian national, the rest of the roster hails from Taiwan.

UNicornGaming's run in PMCO 2019

At the Wildcard League stage, UNicornGaming stood second in the leaderboard securing a total of 186 points including 70 kills. The team garnered 195 points including 53 kills points in the Wildcard Semi Finals with three chicken dinners, placing 5th on the overall leaderboard.

UNicornGaming emerged as the winners of the PMCO Fall Split 2019 Wildcard Finals and qualified directly to compete at the Global Finals. The team had scored 136 points with 65 kills and one chicken dinner across 10 matches.

UNicornGaming has been banking on its position points perhaps slightly more than their kills. While this strategy could help a lot, it can prove to be disadvantageous in case the team faces an early elimination. Being a fairly new team to competitive PUBG Mobile, UNicornGaming has been displaying a high potential and stands a fair chance to win the Fall Split 2019 title.
