AIFF clarifies Wim Koevermans's comments on IMG-R's new league

All India Football Federation (AIFF) clarifies that Indian Senior national team coach Mr. Wim Koevermans has never made any comments against IMG-R’s newly proposed League.

All Mr. Koevermans said is that the current situation, where some of the national team players have been directly contracted by IMG-R for the new League and that the clubs have stated that they are not willing to sign the players in the I-League, has created a situation where the national team players will not have enough match fitness.

Mr. Koevermans stays confident that the situation which affects the national team will be sorted out in due course.
