Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway does not want his team’s fans to be disciplined so that referees do not book any of his players. The Daily Star reports.

He said: “I want our fans to go absolutely mental in the future if one of us trips over or falls over.

“I want them baying at the referees until the bloke’s hackles come up on the back of his neck.

“I don’t want my players to fall over and dive, because that is disrespectful to the opposition.

“I would like us to make it such a bad place for anyone to come to, so intimidating on the referee, that he has got to give us something – if there is margin of doubt, it has got to go our way.

Holloway is still serving a three match ban for criticizing the officials during his teams 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
