GG won by 2 wickets
Player of the match: Parthiv Patel
A not so comfortable win in the end for the Giants as they go 2 from 2. It was a pleasure bringing all the live updates for you. So until the next time, this is Divyansh signing off on the behalf of my co-commentator, Pradeep. Goodbye.
Virender Sehwag (Captain, Gujarat Giants): Yes, I sent all my big hitters on top of the order to finish the job early and go home. Bowlers did the job for us, the pitch helped the spinners a lot, that's why I gave Mitchell and Dinda a break. I was getting ready for a super over in the end, thanks to the wide from Muralitharan, we don't have to bat again. It was great to watch him and Harbhajan bowl together, thankfully I did not have to face any of them.
Harbhajan Singh (Captain, Manipal Tigers): (About two close games) That's what we're here for, we're going to give our best shot with the ball, would've been nice if we had 20 runs more, things would've been different, two close games but really pleased with the effort. (Losing early wickets up front) I think somebody needs to bat first six overs, just play normal cricket, not play the format, otherwise I'll have to play at number 3, after two years I got to bat, I missed a full toss, felt terrible and had to make it up. We as a team need to improve, first six overs is crucial and we haven't scored, hopefully we can score some runs in the powerplay.
Parthiv Patel has been adjudged the Legend of the Match! Here's what he has to say: Enjoyed batting in the powerplay, the ball was coming on to the bat quite nicely, last game I was trying hit the ball to hard, trying to hold on to a shape. It feels great to be out there, to me when you're going to bat, you have to contribute, it's a great feeling to play cricket again, whatever we are today, it's because the game has given us so much.
Gujarat Giants win by 2 wickets.
Parthiv Patel 34 (17) | Muttiah Muralitharan 2/10 (2.2)

This match full of drama, comes to an end with a wide, Giants were cruising with Parthiv patel and kevin O'brien, but the lost Patel after his brilliant knock which took off all the pressure off the next batters. Thne the responsibility came to Perera and Joginder, who rotated the strike and got the runs, but then both off them gave away their wickets. It seemed like there will be a final twist in the match, and Tigers might take the win, but Swann came in and hit two boundaries off his first two deliveries.

Mpofu bowled well in the start, got two big guns, had to leave the field in his third over because of an injury. Awana and Harbhajan also got two wickets, Muralitharan also came in as a super-sub and got 2 wickets, they did all that they could but eventually fell short in the batting department.
17.3 Muttiah Muralitharan to Rayad Emrit, WIDE! THAT'S IT! Bit of an anti-climatic end but Giants, the deserved winners of this game as they pick up two more points to move to the top of the table. Drifts the good length delivery down the leg-side, called a wide.
17.2 Muttiah Muralitharan to Rayad Emrit, length delivery on the outside off, Emrit on the backfoot keeps it out.
Rayad Emrit, RHB, comes to the crease.
17.1 Muttiah Muralitharan to Graeme Swann, BIG APPEAL FOR LBW AND GIVEN! Swann goes for the glory shot and perishes. Good length that turns into Swann, goes to sweep across the line and misses, thuds on the hip, that might've missed the stumps but Swann has to go.

16.6 Harbhajan Singh to Graeme Swann, short on the outside off, Swann cuts it to deep covers for one. SCORES ARE LEVEL NOW!
16.5 Harbhajan Singh to Graeme Swann, good length on the outside off, Swann lunges to defend but that whiskers past the outside edge to the keeper.
16.4 Harbhajan Singh to Graeme Swann, backs away early to make room, Harbhajan follows him and cramps him up, gets a leading edge into the off-side.
16.3 Harbhajan Singh to Graeme Swann, FOUR MORE! Walks across off-stump, down on knee again for the length delivery and smashes it behind square, goes wide of the fielder at deep and picks out the ropes.
16.2 Harbhajan Singh to Graeme Swann, FOUR! Good shot from Swann that. Short on the outside off, Swann down on one knee and paddles it down to fine-leg, that runs down to fine-leg fence for a boundary.
16.1 Harbhajan Singh to Yashpal Singh, short on the outside off, Yashpal being sensible as he flicks it to deep square-leg for a single.
Graeme Swann, RHB, comes to the crease.

Really bad decision from Joginder, they just need 11 runs, just take 11 singles, he throws away his wicket, and now the Tigers require just 3 wickets to win with the bowlers in to bat.
