Aidan Hutchinson, born on August 9, 2000, in Plymouth, Michigan, is an American professional football defensive end for the Detroit Lions in the NFL. Hutchinson earned several accolades during his college career at the University of Michigan, starting with being a unanimous All-American and a Heisman Trophy runner-up in 2021. The 2021 Big Ten MVP had 18.5 sacks and 26.5 tackles for loss during his collegiate career. His impressive performance and versatility as a defensive end led him to be selected as the second overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
