Anzalone played college football at the University of Florida. As a freshman, he saw action in ten games after suffering a few injuries and recorded two tackles that season. In 2014, Anzalone played in all 12 games, earning the team’s Chris Patrick Courage Award and being named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. The following season, Anzalone suffered a shoulder injury that limited him to playing just two games. During his 2016 season, he hauled 53 tackles and declared that he would enter the NFL draft in 2017.
