Arizona-born defensive end Cameron Tyler Jordan was the first-round (24th overall) pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. Being drafted by the New Orleans Saints, Jordan is the franchise's leader in Sacks (117.5) after 13 seasons as of the 2023 season. He averages 3.2 tackles per game after making 209 appearances in the league. Jordan attended Chandler High School and was rated as a five-star prospect in Arizona. Moreover, he ranked 37th for his position nationally by Rivals. Jordan was named as the top defensive lineman at Nike Training Camp. He led his squad to an 11-2 record in his senior year earning him All-State honors.

Jordan attended the University of California playing for the Bears from 2007 to 2010. Although he failed to start a game in his rookie year, Jordan combined for 18 tackles coming off the bench. He also was the recipient of the Bob Tessier Award which is given to the most improved defensive lineman. Jordan took over as a regular starter in 2008 playing in all 12 games. He had a breakout senior year making it to the first-team All-Pac-10 as a senior.
