Cooper DeJean is an American football cornerback and punt returner for the Philadelphia Eagles as of the 2024-25 NFL season. The Eagles selected him with the 40th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Subsequently, he signed a four-year rookie contract worth $9.28 million with the team. Before entering the NFL, DeJean played college football at the University of Iowa.

As a college athlete, DeJean represented the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2021 to 2023. During his time there, he earned several honors, including being named a Unanimous All-American, the Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year, and the Big Ten Return Specialist of the Year in 2023. Additionally, he was a two-time First-team All-Big Ten selection in 2022 and 2023. Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, he grew up in Odebolt, Iowa, and attended OA-BCIG, a school located in Ida Grove, Iowa. During high school, he played as a quarterback and defensive back, setting several school records.
