Dillon Gabriel is a former collegiate football player for the Oregon Ducks in the Big Ten Conference. He started his career with the UCF Knights and then moved to the Oklahoma Sooners, before joining the Oregon Ducks at the beginning of the 2024 season. He passed for 380 yards in his first game with the Ducks. He was the eighth quarterback in college history to reach 15,000 yards. During his graduate year at Oregon, he received several Big Ten honors including first-team selection, MVP, Quarterback of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year in 2024. Gabriel started all 13 games for the Knights in his freshman year and recorded 3,653 passing yards and 29 touchdowns against seven interceptions. He set the UCF freshman record in passing yards and earned second-team All-American honors. In 2020, he started all ten games and was ranked first in the AAC conference with his 21.2 points per game. The following year, Gabriel sustained a broken left clavicle and sat out for the remainder of the season. After three seasons with UCF, he decided to transfer to Oklahoma Sooners for the next two years of collegiate football. During his senior year, Gabriel started all 12 games for the Sooners and posted 3,660 passing yards with 30 touchdowns and six interceptions. After two seasons with Oklahoma, Gabriel decided to transfer to Oregon Ducks in late 2023 for his final year of eligibility.

He was also a three-time First Team All-OIA selection and was honored with the 2018 OIA Offensive Player of the Year.
