Isiah Pacheco is an American football running back for the Kansas City Chiefs, as of the 2024 NFL season. He was selected by the Chiefs with the 251st overall pick in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. That same year, he signed a four-year rookie contract valued at $3.73 million, as per Spotrac. During the 2024 NFL season, Pacheco started as the Chiefs' running back. He broke his fibula in Week 2 and was placed on injured reserve on September 18. He was activated on November 28 and played in Week 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders. As of Week 18 of the 2024 NFL season, he has recorded 2,075 rushing yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, 69 receptions for 453 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns (via Pro Football Reference). Notably, he has won two Super Bowl titles including Super Bowls LVII and LVIII.

Pacheco was born in Vineland, New Jersey. He played Pop Warner football for the Vineland Blitz in Cumberland County and attended Vineland High School, where he played both quarterback and running back. As a senior, Pacheco served as team captain, rushing 154 times for 1,414 yards and 18 touchdowns. As a junior, he rushed for 1,107 yards with 15 touchdowns on 120 carries. After completing high school, he committed to playing college football at Rutgers University in 2017.

Isiah Pacheco attended Rutgers University from 2018 to 2021. According to Sports Reference, he concluded his collegiate career with 2,442 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns, along with 47 receptions for 249 receiving yards and one touchdown.

According to the official website of Rutgers University, Pacheco played all 12 games with three starts, recording 910 all-purpose yards (551 rushing, 348 kickoff return, 11 receiving) and scored three touchdowns along with two receptions for 11 yards in 2018. In 2019, Pacheco played 11 games with 10 starts, leading the team with 729 rushing yards, 169 carries, and seven touchdowns. He also recorded 13 receptions for 83 yards.

In 2020, he started all nine games as a running back, recording 515 rushing yards on 116 carries, 19 receptions for 130 yards, and four touchdowns (three rushing, one receiving). In 2021, he started 12 games as a running back, finishing with 167 carries for 647 rushing yards, and was named honorable mention All-Big Ten, as per Rutgers' official website.
