Jaylahn JT Tuimoloau is a college football player who played as a defensive end for the Ohio State Buckeyes in the 2024-25 season. He was ranked as the No. 1 overall player in the nation by 247Sports and was of the top-10 ranked players from the 2021 signing class. Tuimoloau earned recognition as a five-star recruit, drawing offers from prominent universities like USC, Washington, and Oregon. Although he was offered a basketball scholarship from Oregon, Tuimoloau decided to pursue his football career at Ohio State University.

During his freshman year at Ohio State, JT Tuimoloau showcased his skills in all 13 games, tallying 17 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks, as per Sports Reference. While contemplating the option to play basketball alongside football at Ohio State, he eventually chose to dedicate his focus solely to football. Notably, in a game against Penn State on October 29, 2022, Tuimoloau had one of the best defensive games by achieving two interceptions, two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. He earned a spot in the all-Big Ten Conference first-team three times from 2022-2024. Tuimoloau accumulated 144 career tackles, 16 quarterback hurries and 10 pass break-ups throughout his college football career.
