Jonathan Quinn "Jake" Ferguson is an American football tight end for the Dallas Cowboys as of the 2024 NFL season. The Cowboys selected Ferguson with the 129th pick in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft. Ferguson scored his first touchdown in Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season against the Philadelphia Eagles. He played in 16 games while starting 8 of them and he recorded 19 receptions for 174 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie season with the Cowboys. In his second season, Ferguson had 16 starts while having 71 receptions for 761 yards and five touchdowns. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl in 2023.

Prior to playing in the NFL, Ferguson had committed to the University of Wisconsin for his collegiate football. At Wisconsin-Madison, Ferguson redshirted through his freshman season (according to University's official website). In 2018, he played all 13 games while starting two of the games. Ferguson earned All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2019. The following season, Ferguson was a John Mackey Award semifinalist and was named to the All-Big Ten first team. During the 2021 season, he started all 13 games and concluded the season with 46 receptions for 450 yards and three touchdowns, with that, he was named to the First-team All-Big Ten by the coaches, the second-team All-Big Ten by the Media and was also called for the Senior Bowl. Ferguson attended James Madison Memorial High School where he played as a wide receiver and a linebacker.
