Jalen Ramsey is an American football cornerback for the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. Before transferring to Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, he attended Ensworth High School in Nashville. At Brentwood, he not only played football but also participated in track and field. He attended Florida State University and was a 2-time First-team All-ACC in both 2014 and 2015. Ramsey was also a finalist for the much coveted Jim Thorpe Award. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars with their 5th overall pick from the 2016 NFL Draft. He has been named to the Pro Bowl seven times in a row (2017-2023) and earned All-Pro honors three times. His excellent rookie year got him on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
After spending the first three years of his professional career in Jacksonville, Jalen Ramsey was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2019. He spent 4 years in LA and won Super Bowl LVI, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals before getting traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2023. Even though he played in only 10 games during the 2023 season due to getting a torn meniscus in training camp, he still managed to grab 3 interceptions.
