Jamaal Williams is an American football player who performs In the National Football League (NFL) as a running back for the Green Bay Packers. His professional career began in the year 2017 when he was selected in the fourth round by the Packers in the NFL draft 2017.

He played college football at Brigham Young University (BYU). He signed a deal with the Green Bay Packers in June 2017 and in a match with the Seattle Seahawks, he made his official NFL debut where in the 17-9 victory he rushed for nine yards. In a game against the Detriot Loins recorded the first rushing touchdown of his NFL career. Williams continued his performance for the Packers in the entire season and he finished the following season where he recorded 556 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 25 receptions, 262 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.

In March, 2021, Williams signed a new deal with the Detroit Lions for two years. In the following season, Williams broke the NFL record of Phillip Lindsay when he carried the ball for the 585th time in his career. He continued his brilliant performance in the upcoming seasons where in the 2022 season he finished his final season with the Lions and in the following season he recorded career-high stats. After having a great run with the Green Bay Packers in 2023 Williams signed a new deal with the New Orleans Saints worth $12 million.

Jamaal Malik Williams is currently 28 years old and was born on April 3, 1995, in Rialto, California. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2017 NFL draft at the age of 22.

Before coming to the NFL, he played college football at Brigham Young University and played a game against Washington State which was his debut game in and in the following game he recorded 15 rushing yards. In August, 2013, in the season opener against Virginia, Williams had 144 rushing yards and 25 receiving yards. In the next game against Texas, he had 182 rushing yards in the victory. Williams did not play in 2015 after he withdrew from the school, and remained out of college for a year to extend his period of eligibility.
