Ja'Marr Chase is a professional American footballer who plays in the National Football League (NFL) as a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. Chase's professional career began in 2021 when he was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals as the overall fifth pick in the 2021 NFL draft.
In June 2021, he signed his four-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals of worth $30.8 million. Chase made his NFL debut in a win by 27–24 against the Minnesota Vikings where he recorded 101 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was the youngest player in NFL history to catch four touchdown passes in his first three career games. He was also named the NFL Rookie of the Month.
In the Bengals 34-31 division win Chase recorded 266 receiving yards and three touchdowns and due to his excellent performance he was named AFC offensive player of the week.
