Which team is Joey Bosa on?

Joey is playing with the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL. He was selected by the San Diego Chargers now known as Los Angeles Chargers in the third overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Joey Bosa had a top-notch college football career where he won a number of honors and then backed up that performance with an excellent showing at the NFL Combine. The general consensus amongst scouts was that Joey Bosa would be a high first round pick. Moreover, he became the first non quarterback pick of the draft after the Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles selected Jared Goff and Carson Wentz as the number 1 and 2 picks respectively.

Bosa has since then remained with the Chargers and has developed into one of their most lethal weapons on the defensive side of the ball. The agile linebacker had an incredibly strong rookie campaign finishing with 49 combined tackles and 10.5 sacks despite playing in only 12 games. Even so, he earned the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award and has been building his legacy since then.

From 2017 onwards, Bosa has been consistently tormenting the offense line and has proven to be a nightmare for quarterbacks with his precise play. Apart from missing a few games along the way due to injuries, Bosa has generally been a dominant force but in 2022, he missed a large portion of the season due to a groin injury which required surgery. As the start of the 2023 NFL season approaches, the Chargers pass rusher will be ready to bounce back and put in another great year ahead.
