Josh Oliver is an American football tight end for the Minnesota Vikings in the 2024 NFL season. The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted him in the 69th pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Oliver played in four games in his rookie year recording 3 receptions for 15 yards. After two seasons, Oliver was traded to the Baltimore Ravens in 2021. Oliver was a regular for the Ravens appearing in 14 games in 2021. After two seasons and 31 games, Oliver was traded to the Minnesota Vikings. Oliver played in all 17 regular season games in his debut year for the Vikings. He recorded his 20 receptions for career-high 242 yards while scoring two touchdowns in 2023.
Oliver attended Paso Robles High School in California. He was named to the San Luis Obispo Tribune's first team all-county in both sports. Oliver helped PRHS reach the CIF Southern California Division III title game in 2014 with 453 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches. Oliver committed to San Jose State University in 2015. He was named a Mountain West Conference All-Academic distinction each of his four seasons, with 98 receptions for 1,067 yards and seven touchdowns.
