Joshua Ikechukwu Uche is an American football linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs, as of the 2024 NFL season. The New England Patriots drafted Uche with the 60th overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. During his rookie season with the Patriots, he recorded his first career sack against Lamar Jackson in a Week 10 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Over his time with the Patriots, he tallied a total of 76 tackles and 20.5 sacks. In March 2024, the Patriots re-signed him. However, Uche was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in October 2024. In his first season with the Chiefs, he has played four games, recording two tackles, as of Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season. (via Pro Football Reference).

Born in Miami, Florida, Uche attended Christopher Columbus High School, where he played high school football under coach Chris Merritt. As a senior, he recorded 50 tackles, 14 sacks, and two forced fumbles, and as a junior, he had 34 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. He was rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and ESPN, as per the official website of the University of Michigan. After completing high school, he committed to playing collegiate football for the Michigan Wolverines at the University of Michigan.
