Wisconsin-born Football guard Kevin Zeitler was drafted in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft. He started all 16 games in his rookie year giving away only four sacks for the Bengals. After spending four seasons at Cincinnati, Zietler signed with the Cleveland Browns. He was offered a $60 million five-year deal making him the highest-paid guard in the league. Since then, Zeitler in his 12-season career in the NFL has played for five different franchises. He has started 181 games out of the 182 he's appeared in the NFL. The Detroit Lions signed Zeitler from the Ravens on March 19, 2024.
Zeitler was raised in Wisconsin and attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School. Being named in the first-team all-conference, he was rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals. Zeitler committed to his home state playing for the Wisconsin Badgers from 2008 to 2011. He started at right guard for his first-row seasons in college. Zeitler was a First-team All-American by the AFCA and was also invited to the Senior Bowl after the 2011 season.
