Khalil Shakir, a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills, was born on February 3, 2000. He was drafted by the Bills as the 148th pick in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. In his three seasons with the Bills, he has played in 42 games, starting 19, recording 109 receptions for 1,401 receiving yards and five touchdowns as of the 2024 season. He was the only starting wide receiver remaining on the Bills from the 2023 season going into the 2024 season after Gabe Davis left in free agency and Stefon Diggs was traded. He was Buffalo's top receiver at the beginning of the 2024 season, catching his first 17 targets to shatter the previous season's record of 30 consecutive catches and surpassing Michael Thomas's prior mark of 27 consecutive catches.

Shakir attended Vista Murrieta High School in California in the United States. After graduating in 2018, he enrolled at Boise State University, where he played in 10 games as a true freshman, including one start. He had one receiving touchdown, one rushing touchdown, and 16 receptions for 170 yards. He started five of 14 games as a sophomore in 2019 and hauled in 63 passes for 872 yards, six receiving touchdowns, and three rushing touchdowns. In 2020, he had 52 receptions for 719 yards and six touchdowns while starting all seven games. During his final season at Boise State in 2021, he caught 77 passes for 1,117 yards and seven touchdowns.
