Born on January 2, 2003, Landon Jackson is an American defensive end footballer playing collegiate football for the University of Arkansas. According to the NFL website, Jackson recorded the 10-yard split in 1.65 seconds, including running the 40-yard dash in approximately 4.68 seconds. He also competed at the 2025 Senior Bowl and ended the game by scoring a strip sack and 1.5 tackles. By the end of December 2024, he had shared the news of entering the NFL Draft in 2025 through an Instagram post.

Last season, Jackson gave a start to 12 games by tallying 49 tackles, three PBUs, a blocked kick and a forced fumble. He became the second Razorback since 1997 to play two games where he scored 3+ TFLs, 2+ sacks and 8+ tackles. He received many accolades in 2024, including winning the second-team All-SEC, and he was mentioned on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watchlist and Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List. He recorded six tackles in a match against Louisiana Tech, a quarterback hurry and a PBU. Jackson joined the list of Jordan Domineck and Drew Sander by registering 1.0+ sacks in three consecutive games.

Landon Jackson was enrolled in Pleasant Grove High School, located in Texarkana, Texas. As a junior, he was awarded the Texas Sports Writers Association 4A Defensive Player of the Year award. He played as a defensive lineman for head coach Josh Gibson and scored 45 sacks, including 17 sacks as a junior. During his sophomore year, he received a unanimous First-Team All-District selection. As of April 2025, Landon Jackson will be playing college football for the University of Arkansas starting in 2022. He earlier committed to play collegiate football for Louisiana State University in 2021. While playing for the LSU Tigers, he played a total of five games as a freshman on special teams.
