Nick Sirianni is an American football coach for the NFL team, Philadelphia Eagles. He was born on June 15, 1981 in Jamestown, New York, United States of America. Being the son of a football coach, it is of little surprise that Sirianni took a liking towards football. Sirianni was a division lll football player at the University of Mount Union in Ohio. His college career was successful with him winning three national championships. Being a Division lll player, there was not a lot of scope for Sirianni to enter the NFL. He ended up playing one year of football for the Canton Legends, a team for the American Indoor Football League.

Taking a liking towards coaching football teams, it was but obvious that Nick Sirianni would kick off his coaching career as an alumnus in the University of Mount Union. After coaching the Mount Union football team for a year, Sirianni was hired by Indiana University to be the offensive coach for wide receivers.

In 2009, Sirianni stepped up in his coaching career by entering the NFL as the wide receivers and offensive quality control coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. The team had varying levels of success during his tenure.

In 2013, Sirianni shifted from the Chiefs to the San Diego Chargers (presently Los Angeles Chargers) in the capacity of the coach of quarterbacks. The quarterback, Philip Rivers, developed drastically under Sirianni’s coaching and the credit for his productiveness in games is often given to Sirianni. The Chargers were known to have a good passing offense during this time period which stands as a testament to Sirianni’s success as quarterback coach.

After 4 years with the Chargers, Sirianni moved to the Indiana Colts where he was designated to be the Offensive Coordinator. During his tenure with the Colts, Sirianni is known to have worked with quarterbacks Jacoby Brissett and Andrew Luck, contributing to the overall success of the team’s offense.

Presently, Nick Sirianni is the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Throughout his NFL career as a coach, this marked Sirianni’s first instance as Head Coach of a team. He was hired after the Eagles fired Head Coach Doug Pederson due to relationship constraints with the management.

As a Head Coach, Nick Sirianni has a win-loss record of 24 wins to 11 losses. He started the 2023-24 season with a win.

In addition to his game roles, Sirianni is responsible for media relations, player development, roster tweaking and most importantly, constructing the coaching staff team for the players.
