Umanmielen, an American football defensive end who previously played for the Florida Gator, has now been announced to represent the Ole Miss Rebels.

Umanmielen was born in Manor, Texas on April 18, 2002, and cultivated a deep interest in the sport during his formative years. Standing at 6 feet 5 inches and weighing around 255 pounds, he possesses hand quickness, responds naturally, and has a deep understanding of the situation on the spot. Princely Umanmielen College

Umanmielen initially enrolled at the University of Florida and committed to playing college football for the Florida Gator. After the 2023 season, he decided to enter the transfer portal. In December 2023, he opted to move to the University of Mississippi, commonly called Ole Miss.

During his first season at Florida, his playing time was limited to just four games, concluding the 2020 season with 3 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and two sacks.

In the 2021 season, he recorded 17 tackles, including 9 solo tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack.

In the subsequent season, he played in all 13 games, amassing 39 tackles comprising 16 solo tackles. 9.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.

He wrapped his collegiate career at UF in 2023, concluding the season with 39 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. For his impressive performance throughout the season, he secured a spot on both the Second-team All-SEC and USA Today Sports Network All-SEC Team.

Umanmielen attended Manor High School in his hometown and laid a strong groundwork for a promising future in the sport. During high school years, he participated in the school's football team and honed his skills. He concluded his high school career with 93 tackles with 13 tackles for loss, six sacks, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble.
