Ryan Timothy Tannehill III is a professional American football quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) currently on the Tennessee Titans roster.

Born on July 27, 1998, in Lubbock, Texas, Tannehill attended Big Spring High School near Bay Spring. He played football and basketball and ran on the track and field team for his school team. Tannehill graduated from high school as a three-star recruit and received 4-4A honors for both his junior and senior seasons. Tannehill went on to attend Texas A&M for college where he played college football.

Tannehill was drafted by the Miami Dolphins with their eighth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He made the switch to the Tennessee Titans after an injury-plagued seven seasons with the Dolphins. Tannehill has since helped the Titans seal consecutive division titles in the last two seasons. He was also named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2020 and has been selected to one Pro Bowl.

A key part of the Titans' offense, Tannehill will look to have a strong influence on the team in the ongoing season.
