Stephon Stiles Gilmore is an American football cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings in the 2024 NFL season. The Buffalo Bills drafted Gilmore with the 10th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Gilmore was a starter straight from his rookie year. He combined for 68 tackles and 58 solo tackles in the 16 games he started in 2012. After four seasons and 68 appearances, Gilmore was traded to the New England Patriots. Gilmore won the Super Bowl (LIII) with the Patriots in 2018. He recorded 7 solo assists in the playoffs that season. Willis is an five-time Pro Bowl and received First-team All-Pro selections twice (2018,’19), as of December 2024.

Growing up in South Carolina, Gilmore attended South Pointe High School. He was a versatile player who could play as a defensive back along with being a quarterback. Gilmore was rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals. He committed to the University of South Carolina in 2009. In the 40 games over three seasons, Gilmore appeared in college, he combined for 140 solo and 41 assisted tackles, according to Sports Reference.
