Troy Franklin is an American football wide receiver playing for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League as of 2024. He began his NFL career with the Denver Broncos after being selected as the 102nd overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He signed a rookie contract of 4-year, worth $4.87 million with the Broncos on June 2, 2024. Revisiting the early years of Franklin’s life, he was born in East Palo Alto, California. His football career began at Menio-Atherton High School in California. Rivals rated him among the top 10 wide receivers in the nation, and he was a Consensus four-star recruit. 247Sports ranked him second overall in California. He was selected to play in the 2021 American Bowl and had five 100-yard receiving games during his three-year career. He finished high school with 102 receptions for 1,790 receiving yards while scoring 34 total touchdowns. As of week 9 of the 2024 NFL season, Franklin has amassed 135 receiving yards on 14 receptions.

Troy Franklin College

Troy Franklin attended the University of Oregon and played for the Ducks football team. As a freshman, Franklin played in all 14 games, catching 18 passes for 209 yards and scoring two touchdowns. Moreover, he started all 13 games for the Ducks during his sophomore season, leading the line with 61 receptions for 891 yards.

In all three years at Oregon, Franklin appeared in 36 games with 160 receptions for 2483 yards. He also scored 25 touchdowns and had an average of 62.1. In his senior season, he had a career-high 84 receptions and 14 touchdowns. He set the Ducks’ single-season record for receiving yards, surpassing Dillon Mitchell. Franklin was the past to Coached Pac-12 All-Conference second team and a few other squads.
