Milton's educational journey took him to Olympia High School located in Orlando, Florida. His commitment to playing college football led him to the University of Michigan.

During his initial two years at Michigan, namely in 2018 and 2019, Milton operated as a backup quarterback behind the starter, Shea Patterson.
