New Delhi – The participants and winners across each category will be made to undergo a dope and age verification test at the 18th edition of the Salwan Cross Country Run on November 4 at the Army Equestrian Centre, Brar Square here.

The run brings together students from various schools across India including a great many from the northeast, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

In an effort to reach out to all in the students community, the organisers have tied up with ‘Special Olympics Bharat’ and the NGO ‘Butterflies’ to get differently-abled children to participate in the run.

Around 1,500 of these students will run the special 4.5 km run which will be supported by Unicef and FICCI.
