Currently ranked No. 28 by the ATP, Lorenzo Musetti is an aspiring tennis player who has won two singles titles on the ATP Tour so far in his career. He defeated World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the 2022 Hamburg European Open. With the win, Musetti became the youngest ATP Tour finalist since the 2005 Bastad Open, where 19-year-old Rafael Nadal defeated 19-year-old Tomas Berdych.


Musetti's first big win in the main draw came at the 2020 Italian Open, where he outclassed three-time Grand Slam Champion Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets in the first round. He followed it up with another eye-catching result against Kei Nishikori in the second.


Musetti became the youngest player to break into the top 100 of the ATP rankings after reaching the semifinals of the Mexican Open. He also scored his first top-10 victories along the way after outfoxing Argentine Diego Schwartzman. However, he couldn't get the better of Stefanos Tsitsipas in the last four.


Lorenzo Musetti's Grand Slam results are as follows: In both 2021 and 2023, he advanced to the fourth round of the French Open. In 2023, he advanced to the third round of Wimbledon. In 2022, he advanced to the third round of the US Open. He did, however, lose in the first round of the Australian Open in 2022 and 2023.
