6 WWE Superstars who Vince McMahon will push for Survivor Series 2019

The build to WWE Survivor Series 2019 is officially underway and we can put WWE Crown Jewel behind us. We know that you're probably not a big fan of those PPVs but this time around, things are getting exciting for Survivor Series.

WWE couldn't go with the general RAW vs SmackDown theme this year since the Wild Card rule already gave us 6 months worth of Interbrand match-ups. To inject the PPV with some fresh matches, WWE decided to add NXT to the mix and we couldn't be more excited about it!

The storylines feel fresh, the invasions don't feel overdone and the number of fresh faces makes every episode exciting. This feels like the first time in years where RAW, NXT and SmackDown are all must-watch shows simply due to the "anything can happen" factor.

The crossover makes it all the more fun and we're going to see quite a few superstars getting pushed for the PPV. Here are the ones who Vince McMahon will likely push the most.

#6. Rey Mysterio

It seems like every Survivor Series since 2017, Brock Lesnar has had to face a smaller opponent. We're not complaining since both 2017 and 2018 have seen Lesnar thrive in dream matches where he was motivated to have a great match.

This should be no different and we expect fireworks from Rey Mysterio and Brock Lesnar. While it's clear that Mysterio isn't going to be taking the title off Brock Lesnar, he will be getting pushed in the next couple of weeks and will surely be made to look strong so he can look like a legitimate threat to Brock Lesnar. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out.

#5. Shayna Baszler

The Queen of Spades Shayna Baszler is a special kind of talent. She's the only 2-time NXT Women's Champion and is the closest in terms of tenure to reaching Asuka's status as champion. (Which she will surpass in a matter of two weeks)

If you follow NXT, it certainly feels like Baszler has been champion forever and it's hard to see anyone dethroning her soon. With that said, she's one of those talents who absorbs information like a sponge and improves in no time, which is probably why she has been the focal point of the yellow brand's women's division for so long.

She had a tense face-to-face with Becky Lynch, which was their first real interaction with each other. While it seemed to plant the seeds for a future Horsewomen vs Horsewomen match or even Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey, Baszler will be pushed heading into Survivor Series.

She's going to pose a big threat to Becky Lynch (and Bayley) and although she may not necessarily walk out victorious, she's going to be instrumental in the storyline progression of Lynch.

#4. Seth Rollins

It's been a rough couple of months for Seth Rollins. His popularity as a top babyface has taken a big hit and the comments he's made against fans certainly hasn't helped his cause. To add to it, he was the babyface Universal Champion feuding against The Fiend Bray Wyatt, who just so happened to be the hottest thing going in all of WWE.

As a result of all this, Rollins now finds himself without the title and in a very odd position. However, this doesn't mean he's losing his push - quite the contrary. He is now in the most interesting storyline in Survivor Series where Triple H, his old mentor, is tempting him to join team NXT.

Though he suffered a beatdown, the emotional tear between choosing RAW or NXT will be a big part of his character arc. All said and done, Seth Rollins has one of the best character arcs and hopefully, we see him bring out an edge in his character as a babyface. There's no doubt that this storyline will see Vince McMahon once again push him, though his spot on the card remains unclear as of this writing.

#3. Becky Lynch

The Man Becky Lynch is on an upward ascent. While her first four months as RAW Women's Champion didn't set the world on fire, that can probably go back to the fact that she only had two title challengers and they weren't very great ones.

It isn't a knock on Lacey Evans or Natalya, but the reality is that Evans wasn't ready for that spot just yet (she will be eventually) and Natalya doesn't have very good chemistry with Becky Lynch. One feud with Sasha Banks later and the RAW Women's Champion was back on track.

She is the face of the entire Women's division and she will have one of her toughest tests to date as she faces SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley and Shayna Baszler. The story, for now, seems to be more focused on Lynch and Baszler, but don't count Bayley out. This could even mean that Bayley wins, but in all likeliness, it'll be Lynch walking out victorious after pinning or submitting Baszler.

She has been getting pushed for a while now and that's set to continue as Survivor Series comes closer.

#2. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has had a very interesting 2019. If you were to tell anyone a year ago that Reigns would be a more popular babyface than Seth Rollins, you would have been called crazy - yet here we are.

That goes to show the unpredictability aspect of wrestling, but there are multiple reasons for the situation. It's certainly helped that Reigns has taken a backseat from being a main eventer. He's still a highly featured superstar that faces and beats top stars, but the difference is that he isn't forcibly pushed and the difference in reactions is audible.

Roman Reigns is now one of the most over babyfaces on the roster and if they keep it this way, his popularity will remain consistent or could even shoot up. With that said, WWE has still been careful with protecting Reigns and pushing him accordingly and there's no doubt about the fact that Reigns will have an important role to play at Survivor Series for SmackDown.

What exactly his role will be, we can't tell, but he will be one of the leading figures for SmackDown. He's going to get pushed in the coming weeks.

#1. Adam Cole

Who would have thought that Adam Cole would be one of the strongest-booked NXT Champions ever? If you were to ask us who the greatest NXT Champion in history is, our answer would normally be Finn Balor or perhaps Tommaso Ciampa, but Adam Cole's reign has taken a shape of its own.

He now has one of the highest title defenses despite only being champion for about 5 months. He has been the leading figure of NXT in the invasion of RAW and SmackDown and has already put his name on the map with back-to-back NXT title defenses against Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins.

He won't be facing Brock Lesnar and we can't be sure if he'll be facing The Fiend Bray Wyatt, but there's not going to be any superstar on all three brands who will get the push that Adam Cole is getting.

Whether or not it ends up with him being victorious at Survivor Series is yet to be seen, but he's getting a bigger push than most NXT Champions have gotten. It's been around 4 years since we've seen an NXT Champion appear on the main roster with their title so it's a bit special to watch.
