A new rumour has surfaced around the internet possibly revealing the future of Shane O’ Mac in WWE. Along with that, this rumour also gives credence to another rumour that has been making rounds in the rumour mill for weeks.
According to ringsidenews.com, Shane McMahon will be a regular figure in WWE programming in the upcoming months. In the event of rumoured brand split happennning, he will be in-charge of one show while the other show will be run by The Authority, essentially making it an competition between Shane and The Authority to deliver the best show.
It looks like WWE is going to fall back to its old roots. WWE rose to prominence when it won the Monday Night Wars with WCW. WWE is planning to rekindle that competitive spirit that has been lacking in WWE since its emergence as the top winner from Monday Night Wars. This competitive spirit may reinforce the brand of WWE and lead to exciting programs from both brands.
Though this seems to be a good news, it still undermines Shane McMahon’s feud with The Undertaker. Honestly, there seems to be no point in the feud if this rumour is indeed true. Shane McMahon and The Undertaker put their body to entertain the fans of WWE at WrestleMania and this is going to undermine their tremendous efforts.
