WWE News: Triple H opens up about NXT UK TakeOver Cardiff's competition this weekend

NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff takes place this Sunday, and will make history as the first-ever major WWE event to take place in Wales.

Ahead of the monumental event, I had the chance to ask Triple H about TakeOver, and more specifically, NXT UK's weekly programming - asking if NXT UK may follow NXT onto broadcast television at some point.

This weekend's TakeOver will see Walter defend his WWE United Kingdom Championship against Tyler Bate.

Kay Lee Ray challenges Toni Storm for the NXT UK Women's Championship, the Grizzled Young Veterans defend their NXT UK Tag Team Championships against Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster and Wolfgang & Mark Coffey of Gallus. The third member of Gallus, Joe Coffey, takes on Dave Mastiff in a Last Man Standing Match. WWE Superstar, Cesaro, is also set to appear!

In his closing remarks, Triple H opened up about the plethora of competition WWE has this weekend, but revealed why WWE NXT UK is the show to watch.

There is a lot of competition over this weekend. I mean that in a positive way, there is a lot to be offered, there is a lot to watch.

I can say without a shadow of a doubt, there isn’t anybody anywhere else I would trade with the people on this roster, and I 100 percent believe that this will be the event of the weekend by far, and I'm excited for that and excited for them to go show the world who they are and to show the world that they are NXT - because that is the standard bearer for what they do.
