Actress Gabrielle Union is known around the NBA as the loving and supporting wife of former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade. However, in her memoir, "You Got Anything Stronger?" she shared how she struggled when her husband fathered a child with another woman because of her infertility.

Union opened up about how painful it was for her to deal with her infertility issues. Her inability to concieve a child led to Wade having a child with a different woman, and that child is now seven years of age. Yahoo.com wrote about the actress revealing her hardships:

"I am not the same woman I was when I wrote to you four years ago." Union writes. "If you thought you knew me then, you are not alone. I thought I knew me, too.

"To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience. The experience of Dwyane having a baby so easily while I was unable to left my soul not just broken into pieces, but shattered into fine dust scattering in the wind. The advice I would give myself now is to leave. The me of today would not have stayed with him, but would I be who I am now without that pain?"

Before their engagement, Wade and Union briefly split in 2013. During that time, the three-time champion had a child with another woman. The next year, the two wed, but despite that, Union said that she struggled as she tried to conceive.

In 2018, Union uploaded a photo of herself on vacation, and Jimmy Butler left a comment that almost looked like a beef between the two friends.

In the post, Butler commented "WELL DAMN!!" Wade responded with a comment that looked like a threat, but it could also have been just friendly banter.

The two were teammates during the 2016-17 season with the Chicago Bulls. Both NBA players have maintained a close friendship, which led to Butler joining the Miami Heat in 2019.
