"I don’t even know where to start" - Jaylen Brown says he doesn't know what went wrong in Game 3

Boston Celtics v Miami Heat - Game Three
Jaylen Brown discusses a call with an official.

Boston Celtics star guard Jaylen Brown is at a loss for words after his team's 128-102 Game 3 loss in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat on Sunday. With the Celtics now one loss away from a clean sweep, Brown tried to make sense of what went wrong in the third game.

Jaylen Brown has been one of the most valuable pieces in Boston's arsenal this season. As one of the best two-way players in the game, he brings a lot to the table simply by being on the floor.

Unfortunately, Brown hasn't been as much of a factor in the ECF against the Heat thus far. After a particularly disappointing night for the team, the Celtics guard appeared to be in a bit of a daze regarding the events that transpired in Game 3.

The Heat handed Boston their worst playoff loss. The victory margin of 26 points is evidence of Miami's dominance. When asked about what went wrong during the game, Brown said about the 'embarassing' capitulation:

"I don't even know where to start. It's an obvious letdown. Feel like we let our fanbase, our organization down. Feel like we let ourselves down. It was collective. We can point fingers. But in reality, it's just embarrassing."

Jaylen Brown's take resonated the sentiments of the entire team. Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla also addressed the "disconnect" in the locker room. As things stand, Boston seems to be spiralling into chaos.

With an imminent sweep on the horizon, the Celtics may not have the necessary resources to pull through with a win on the road.

Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum come up short in Game 3

The Boston Celtics collectively had a horror shooting night at the FTX Arena. However, the Celtics' superstar duo fell far short of expectations in a crucial game.

Boston shot under 40% from the field and just over 26% from the 3-point line. These aren't winning numbers by any means. This low scoring output could be attributed to the Celtics duo going for a combined 12-35 from the field, though.

Jayson Tatum, who made franchise history in Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers, came up with a team-high 14 points. Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown, also had a rough night with 12 points of his own.

To exacerbate matters, the two stars were the only starters in double figures. Grant Williams and Payton Pritchard were the only other players with double-digit scoring.

Boston's effort in Game 3 was nothing short of disappointing. If the same continues, the Celtics' postseason will come to an end in the next game.
